Pet owners have had few choices in the past. Traditionally, they could either leave their pets in unfamiliar environments, impose upon a friend or neighbor, or stay home. We provide a preferred alternative for pet owners, enabling them to travel with assurance their pets and home are in good hands! Pet owners can leave pets in their own secure, familiar place. Pets are creatures of habit, just as people are. This is especially important for cats who form a strong connection with their “territory.” By staying in their own home, pets are able to follow their normal eating, medication, & exercise routines.
A Pet Sitter keeps an eye on each home by doing such things as bringing in the mail & newspapers, turning lights on & off, opening & closing curtains/blinds, & watering houseplants. These small services give a home a “lived-in” look while the owner is away. Such crime-deterring measures result in additional peace of mind for the absent homeowner. It is a pleasure for returning homeowners to find healthy & happy pets awaiting their arrival and their home just as they left it.
Using a Pet Sitter definitely contributes to the happiness and health of your pets. The likelihood of exposure to kennel-related disease or illness is greatly reduced for the pet by staying at home. Plus there’s no need for extra vaccinations. And, your pets receive one-on-one personal attention suited to their needs. This includes being able to spot changes in behavior & appetite early on. In addition, there’s no trauma of traveling for the pet, nor are you inconvenienced by having to transport your pet to the vet/kennel.
We also offer convenient mid-day dog walking services to busy/traveling pet owners.
